Having a Fun Time Watching Our Wahoos Lose...

Jason and I were blessed enough to get two free tickets recently to go watch Duke play Virginia at Cameron Indoor Stadium. The seats were phenomenal but sadly the Blue Devils proved too much for our Cavs. We had a great time anyhow and can only describe the experience as "incredible." We definitely felt out of place sporting our orange and blue but it was such a blowout that we didn't really get heckled. Final score: Duke 87, Virginia 65.

New Years with Sara and Christian

Jason and I had the chance to drive down to Charlotte to catch up with one of my best friends, Sara. We went to high school together and she was in my wedding but I hadn't seen her since her wedding, and had never met her adorable son James. Here we are on the couch in the basement: me, James and Sara.

It was neat seeing Sara be a mom and read to James. He's such a happy little boy!

Meanwhile, the guys turned their attention to college football. Jason sported his UVA colors although Christian rooted for Texas Tech. Ah, Texans....what can you do?

The evening wouldn't have been complete without some Dance Dance Revolution. Jason and Christian start out slowly......

....but they finally get the hang of it and start showing us their stuff. We all laughed REALLY hard and I thought this was a wonderful way to kick off 2008.
